KaariLo – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to KaariLo (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”). KaariLo is an online platform that facilitates booking of local service professionals (“Kaarigars”) by users (“Users”).
By accessing or using KaariLo, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Platform
- KaariLo is a technology-enabled service booking platform.
- KaariLo does not provide services directly.
- All services are provided by independent third-party service professionals (Kaarigars).
KaariLo’s role is limited to: listing service providers, facilitating bookings, and managing payments in a conditional manner.
2. User Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
3. Booking & Service Delivery
- Users may browse, select, and book services listed on KaariLo.
- Service availability, pricing, and timelines are determined by the Kaarigar.
- KaariLo does not guarantee service quality, timelines, or outcomes.
- Any agreement for service is strictly between the User and the Kaarigar.
4. Payments & Escrow-like Mechanism
- Users are required to pay upfront at the time of booking.
- Payment made by the User is held securely by KaariLo.
- The Kaarigar is paid only after the service is marked as completed.
- If a service is not completed or is disputed, payment release may be delayed or adjusted as per KaariLo’s dispute resolution process.
- KaariLo may deduct applicable platform fees, taxes, or charges before releasing payment.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation and refund eligibility may vary by service.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after review.
- KaariLo reserves the right to deduct convenience or processing fees.
- Abuse of cancellations may result in account suspension.
6. User Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to premises for service delivery.
- Treat service professionals respectfully.
- Avoid unlawful, abusive, or unsafe behavior.
- Not misuse the platform or bypass KaariLo for off-platform transactions.
7. Kaarigar Responsibilities
- Provide accurate service details and pricing.
- Deliver services professionally and lawfully.
- Comply with local laws and safety standards.
- Not demand payment outside the KaariLo platform.
8. Ratings, Reviews & Feedback
Users may submit ratings and reviews after service completion. Reviews must be honest and non-defamatory. KaariLo reserves the right to remove abusive or misleading content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: KaariLo is not liable for service quality, damages, delays, or disputes between Users and Kaarigars. KaariLo’s liability, if any, shall not exceed the platform fee charged for the booking. KaariLo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Dispute Resolution
KaariLo may assist in facilitating communication between Users and Kaarigars. Final resolution of service-related disputes lies between the User and the Kaarigar. KaariLo’s decision regarding payment release shall be final and binding.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
KaariLo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if: these Terms are violated, fraudulent or abusive behavior is detected, or platform misuse occurs.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and platform design belong to KaariLo. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission.
13. Privacy
Use of the Platform is subject to KaariLo’s Privacy Policy, which governs data collection and usage.
14. Modifications
KaariLo may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
